    A Love Affair

早些时候去世的IRVING PENN说过一句话:“We don't call them shoots here. We don't shoot people. It's really a love affair.”

    拍成这个效果不是本意,却比清晰的效果更能表现对这个城市的感觉。其实更喜欢调成黑白后的感觉,有点疲惫,有点迷茫,不真实。光影掠过,留在脑海的只是一个印象,色彩是其次,毕竟所有的灯光也都只有那么些色彩。如果能设置图片背景不是现在的半透明就好了。

    你是人间的四月天
        ——一句爱的赞颂

    (unknow pic)

    我说你是人间的四月天;
    笑响点亮了四面风;轻灵
    在春的光艳中交舞着变。

    (Estee Lauder by Arthur Elgort)

    你是四月早天里的云烟,
    黄昏吹着风的软,星子在
    无意中闪,细雨点洒在花前。

    (Camilla Akrans)

    那轻,那娉婷,你是,鲜妍
    百花的冠冕你戴着,你是
    天真,庄严,你是夜夜的月圆。

    (ysl by Glen Luchford)

    雪化后那篇鹅黄,你像;新鲜
    初放芽的绿,你是;柔嫩喜悦
    水光浮动着你梦期待中白莲。

    (Vogue UK Thomas Schenk)

    你是一树一树的花开,是燕
    在梁间呢喃,——你是爱,是暖,
    是希望,你是人间的四月天!

    这是VOGUE US今年二月号的一张内页,摄影师是Steven Meisel。
    看到这样一张照片还有多少人认为为了一个封面、一张图片而买下一本杂志是见不可理喻的事?
    要用什么词来形容这这张照片呢?美仑美奂、活色生香、古典浪漫、意式魅力?当Mert Alas & Marcus Pigott艳丽而雷同的色彩和PHOTOSHOP再无法刺激疲惫的视觉感官,当Steven Klein不停地想标新立异树立所谓后现代风格却得到廉价的商业效果时,Steven Meisel却按照最经典的模式给我们呈现出一丝不苟得令人赞叹的影象:经典的油画质感,复古的妆容(完美突出了唇色的诱惑),模特身上恰到好处的装饰(面纱、项链),以及完美无缺的构图、光线......
    柔和的光线似乎漫出屏幕,觉得最美的是慵懒地垂下眼帘的NATASHA。DOLCE VITA原本有“虚幻的美好”之意,我想很多时候欣赏美就是一种DOLCE VITA,至于虚幻不虚幻,这就要看你是堕落地沉迷着,还是从中找到灵感了。

    人间没有天使

    今天看到一些Kate Moss以前的照片,摄影师是Corinne Day.看了那么多时装摄影,感觉女人拍女人和男人拍女人效果的区别总是很明显,这种通过镜头表现出来的区别大概只和性别的定位和思考有关,和摄影师的取向关系不大.我喜欢Day镜头下的Kate:纯净、迷茫、闲适、自在.她还原一个fashion icon最真诚的自我.有点类似于Arthur Elgort和Bruce Weber镜头下的模特们或是Inez&Vinood拍摄的名人.看她赤裸着身体在海滩上对镜头放肆的大笑,零乱的头发随海风和海浪的节奏飘动;阳光和煦,她穿着内衣在窗旁看伦敦的人来人往;化着天蓝和浅黄相衬的眼妆,她面无表情展现给世界一张平凡又特别的脸,那是她的身份.她是Kate Moss.在一个充满平凡人生的世界上,一个女人可以活得特立独行而不失迷人.她不曾是一个完美的标签,也不愿做一个仅供摆设的漂亮花瓶.她无意发表任何哗人的宣言,却用自己的故事证明在这个"15分钟名人"的时代可以怎样别样地生活,并给别人灵感.人间没有天使,所以不用梦想天堂人生.所有精彩故事都在讲述同一个真相:珍惜此刻,活在当下.

Where Do You Go My Lovely

       You talk like Marlene Dietrich
And you dance like Zizi Jeanmaire
Your clothes are all made by Balmain
And there's diamonds and pearls in your hair

You live in a fancy appartement
Of the Boulevard of St. Michel
Where you keep your Rolling Stones records
And a friend of Sacha Distel

But where do you go to my lovely
When you're alone in your bed
Tell me the thoughts that surround you
I want to look inside your head

      I've seen all your qualifications
      You got from the Sorbonne
And the painting you stole from Picasso
Your loveliness goes on and on, yes it does

When you go on your summer vacation
      You go to Juan-les-Pines
With your carefully designed topless swimsuit
You get an even suntan, on your back and on your legs

When the snow falls you're found in St. Moritz
With the others of the jet-set
And you sip your Napoleon Brandy
But you never get your lips wet

But where do you go to my lovely
When you're alone in your bed
Tell me the thoughts that surround you
I want to look inside your head, yes I do

Your name is heard in high places
      You know the Aga Khan
He sent you a racehorse for chistmas
And you keep it just for fun, for a laugh haha

They say that when you get married
      It'll be to a millionaire
But they don't realize where you came from
And I wonder if they really care, they give a damn

But where do you go to my lovely
When you're alone in your bed
Tell me the thoughts that surround you
I want to look inside your head

I remember the back streets of Naples
      Two children begging in rags
Both touched with a burning ambition
To shake off their lowly brown tags, yes they try

So look into my face Marie-Claire
And remember just who you are
Then go and forget me forever
'Cause I know you still bear
the scar, deep inside, yes you do

I know where you go to my lovely
When you're alone in your bed
I know the thoughts that surround you
'Cause I can look inside your head

Watched Wes Anderson's The Darjeeling Limited and the short film Hotel Chevalier. It was quite a hilarious movie, the music, the lines were enjoyable, nice choice for summer holiday. This is a lovely song from the ost.

    Cecil Beaton
